Groups can provide a safe space to learn from others with similar struggles, have a sounding board to talk through your own struggles with others who really get you and what you're going through, and relieve the social isolation that comes with mental health issues, all while learning practical coping skills from a trained therapist.
Generally, groups are also a more cost-effective option than individual therapy.
