  • It varies person to person. Our services are designed to be sustainable and cost effective.

    Once we receive and enquiry form, we make a recommendation based on your history and need and explore what your options are. Generally speaking - our prices range between $80-$180 for an individual session.

    We collaborate with you to ensure you are able to reach your wellness goals.

  • You do not need a referral or Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP to make an appointment with our therapists.

    If you hold Private Health Insurance, mental health care may be covered if you have an extras plan. It’s important to understand that every provider is different, so it’s best to pick up the phone (or jump online) to see if your service will cover some of the costs of seeing a mental health care professional. Please note, some of our therapists do not offer private health rebates, speak to our administrative team for specific guidance.  

    Here are the steps you might want to take:   

    1. Check with our reception to see whether or not your therapist has a provider number for your specific health insurance.

    2. Call your Private Health Insurer (or jump onto your online portal) to check your level of cover and if mental health services are covered.   

    3. Make sure you let your provider know about the qualifications of your mental health practitioner. Our Wellness Collective practitioners include Counsellors and Psychotherapists. Note: sometimes some or all of these professions may be covered under a “counselling” benefit. Item codes vary so you will need to be informed by your insurer.  

    4. Find out how to make a claim. At the end of your session with Our Wellness Collective, you will be asked to pay for the service. We will provide you with a receipt* you may be asked to provide your provider when you make a claim.  

  • Unfortunately, we do not offer Medicare Rebates as counsellors and psychotherapists are currently not included in the covered professions.

  • You do not need a referral or Mental Health Treatment Plan to make an appointment and start seeing one of our therapists.

  • Our Wellness Collective is Wheelchair accessible and has bathroom facilities for people with disabilities.  

    Working service animals are welcome and we will offer your Support Worker a comfortable place to wait for you and a steaming cup of coffee while they wait.  

    Online therapy options are also available to you.

  • Yes, NDIS plan managed, or self-managed participants are welcome to schedule enquire about our services.

    Our counsellors and psychotherapist are all accredited and qualified service providers. 

  • Yes, all our therapists offer both face-to-face and online options in order to make therapy more accessible to all.

    Some of our therapist only offer Teletherapy so please inquire with us at the time of booking if you are unsure!

  • Yes, Our Wellness Collective is a LGBTQIA+ friendly practice. We provide a safe and welcoming environment for individuals of all gender identities and sexual orientations.

  • We offer therapy sessions Monday through Friday, with some availability on weekends. Please contact us to schedule an appointment or check our online booking system for availability.

    We are currently taking new clients so there are no waitlist for booking with most of our practitioners.

  • Yes, we accept all pre-approved sessions, but it is the client and their insurer’s responsibility to ensure their account is settled.

    Once a client has completed their sessions, we will forward the billing to the approved account representative.
