Our Collaborative Approach

We know that the first step of making a booking or enquiry is often the biggest and so we have created a simple 3 step process to facilitate your experience. Our administrative Team will be in contact with you within 24 hours of receiving your completed forms. 

Our therapists are currently taking in new clients for all services so there is minimal wait time. Please be prompt as capacity fills quickly.

  • Once we’ve received your enquiry form, we will review the details and match you with the best practitioner based on your needs.

    We’ll reach out to you to confirm the match and answer any questions you might have. This is a good opportunity to tell us about specific requirements you may have.

  • Once your practitioner is confirmed, we will create a new client profile and book your initial consultation.

What to Expect:

    • Individual therapy typically follows a 0-12 session structure based on client needs and progress.

    • Once clients go beyond 12 sessions, we offer personalised options for sustainable wellness.

    • Initial Session: Begins with a joint session to understand both partners’ goals.

    • Individual Sessions: Each partner has a dedicated session to explore personal perspectives and individual goals.

    • Couples Sessions structure: Couples therapy typically follows a 8-10 sessions structure, with progress reviews and adjustments made as needed.

    • Once clients go beyond 12 sessions, we offer personalised options for sustainable wellness.

  • ✔️ Initial Inquiry and Service Selection

    • Clients enquire about available group therapy options by visiting our website, calling, or emailing.

    • On the Group Therapy enquiry Form (available online), clients select their preferred group type (e.g., trauma recovery, mindfulness-based therapy, stress management) and provide basic information on their goals and needs.

    ✔️ Discovery Phone Call to meet prospective participants and assess for Group Suitability

    • After submitting the form, clients are scheduled for a 15-minute Telehealth assessment with a group therapist or intake coordinator.

    • The purpose of this consultation is to discuss goals and evaluate if group therapy aligns with client needs. It also assesses if there is a good fit with the chosen group focus and dynamic.

    • For certain groups, specific readiness criteria may be discussed to ensure the safety and suitability of the group for all participants.

    ✔️ Enrolment and Group Preparation

    • Clients receive details on group structure, timing, and expectations. Once confirmed, they book their spot and are enrolled in the group.

    • Before the first session, enrolled clients receive a Group Therapy Welcome Pack with guidelines, what to expect, and a brief outline of the group’s objectives and rules for creating a safe space.

    • If needed, clients can participate in an optional pre-group session or introductory call to help ease any anxieties about starting.

    ✔️ Group Therapy Sessions and Support

    • Weekly Sessions: Groups typically run for 6-10 weekly sessions, each lasting 1-2 hours, depending on the group’s purpose.

    • Sessions follow a structured format, often including opening mindfulness exercises, group sharing, therapeutic activities, and closing reflections.

    • Group sessions are facilitated by licensed therapists trained in group dynamics and trauma-informed care, ensuring a supportive and respectful environment.

    ✔️ Ongoing Support and Resource Access

    • Participants have access to additional resources, such as worksheets, readings, or mindfulness exercises, that complement their group work and aid in personal growth outside of sessions.

    • Throughout the group therapy cycle, clients can request brief, private check-ins with the facilitator if they have any questions or concerns.

    ✔️ Post-Group Follow-Up and Continuation Options

    • At the end of the group therapy cycle, clients have a final session to reflect on their progress, share insights, and discuss how they plan to continue their growth journey.

    • Follow-up resources are provided, along with recommendations for further support, such as individual therapy or joining another group therapy cycle if desired.

  • ✔️ Initial Contact and Customisation enquiry

    • Organisations, community groups, or individuals inquire about workshop offerings by contacting us directly or completing an Online Workshop Inquiry Form.

    • They share specific interests, goals, and logistical details, such as preferred dates, group size, and focus areas (e.g., mental well-being, mindfulness, trauma-informed care, team building).

    ✔️ Consultation & Workshop Design

    • Our team schedules a 30-minute consultation to discuss the goals and vision for the workshop, ensuring alignment with the group’s needs.

    • We design a tailored workshop proposal that includes an outline, content areas, and structure (e.g., half-day, full-day, multi-day sessions), as well as any integrative approaches like mindfulness exercises, group discussions, or somatic activities.

    ✔️ Booking Confirmation and Preparation

    • Once the proposal is approved, the workshop is booked, and Our Wellness Collective provides logistical guidance, a materials list, and any required participant information.

    • If needed, we offer pre-workshop support, such as a preparatory meeting or materials for participants.

    ✔️ Workshop Delivery and Follow-Up 

    • Our facilitators deliver the workshop in a supportive and engaging environment, whether on-site, off-site, or online, ensuring an inclusive and interactive experience.

    • For 2 weeks Post-workshop, we provide follow-up support, including resource materials, feedback opportunities, and additional guidance to sustain the impact of the workshop experience.

    • Step: Throughout the therapy journey, clients receive personalised support with access to helpful resources and check-ins.

    • We want to ensure our client feels continuously supported, with sessions adapted as needed to achieve their wellness goals.
